There's a greater divine love story being written for each of us by name. How will our story end? It's up to us. God so wants each and every one of us to choose Him as well as the ending He has in store for us - eternal life with Him.
There's a greater love, especially when it comes to our God and His love for us. An unbelievable story of God's love for all mankind. At the heart of this story is God's boundless love for and His relentless pursuit of us to forever restore our fractured love relationship with Him.
Please keep our Central Christian family and fellow believers in prayer as we ask God to accomplish 'Greater Things' in, through, by and for His glory alone. As Jesus says in John 14:12-13, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Joining each of you in prayer friends.
On my desk and I have a small rock with the word 'Entrust' written on it. It's the one word God gave me last year as I read, listened, studied and noticed God repeating Himself, at least to me. Once I discovered that word, I claimed it and began the daily process of living it each day.
How do we exactly discover that God-given word for us? Prepare; Listen; Read; Notice; Receive. How pray; fast; read our Bible and devotionals; worship; listen to music; talk to friends; journal. As we do so, what 'One Word' is God repeating again and again. What 'One Word' continues to jump off each page. Notice it. Receive it.
In silence and stillness, we must make it a priority to sit at Jesus' feet; listening and learning from Him. Allowing Him to pour into our life. To refill, replenish, refresh and renew us.
Good, bad or indifferent - perhaps many of us can recall that one word someone said that has had lasting impact on our lives. That one word that rings loudly in our mind that inspires or demoralizes us. Words are powerful. Agreed?
Those who did not have a personal relationship with Jesus desired one - why? Because those following Jesus were living their life in such a powerful way that those who didn't know Jesus, wanted to know Him. Can the same be said of us today?
"For God so loved the world that he gave his One and Only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16 Belief in Jesus brings joy, hope, peace and love amidst life's trials. I believe. Do you?
For God so loved the world; so loved you and I that He gave US His One and Only Son...so that, if we accept His gift and live in love as we have been loved - we get to spend eternity with God Himself!
