God, by His Holy Spirit, uses His Word, our life experiences, and spiritual disciplines to form Christ IN us!
Have we ever experienced the Word of God in a living and active manner? "...the word of God is living and active." What exactly is meant?
God invites us IN–INTO His life-giving presence. Will we accept His invitation and invite Him IN?
Recently, I was able to spend some quality time with my grandson. It was during our fun interactions together that I found him repeating an action directed at me. Too young to formulate his words quite yet, he would simply take his little hand and pat the floor, a chair or location directly next to him that he wanted me to occupy. In his little way, he was repeatedly inviting me to join him - asking, "Grandpa, come and sit here...right next to me!"
This Fall we have been focusing on how we can 'Become More Like Jesus.' Living for Him in character & conduct; belief & behavior; attitude & demeanor; life & faith. A.W. Tozer put it this way, "Modern religion focuses upon filling churches with people. The true gospel emphacizes filling people with God."

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a parent is when our children naturally do their chores, help around the home, even assist us or a sibling without being asked to. Better yet, they do so with a pleasant spirit and kind demeanor.
Choosing to belong to and believe in Jesus, we now desire to become like Jesus. Thinking, acting, and being like Him!
Recently, my son Josh and I were asked to stand next to one another. I thought, well that's rather odd. What's up? Well, they wanted to see if we resembled each other in likeness. With a short glance, the response was, "Oh yeah, dad and son sure do look alike."
