Joy of Giving – $11,556 raised for Community Outreach

A Christmas Collection to Benefit Community Outreach

A huge thank you goes out to our entire Central family! God moved us to give $11,556 in our 2014 Joy of Giving Christmas offering. Because of this the following six local outreach ministries will receive a check for $1,926 to assist them as they meet the needs our our local community in Jesus’ name! Home-bound Heroes; Christian 12 Step; Wyomina Park Elementary School; Good News Club; Helping Hands & Central Christian’s Love Fund. Go God! It’s exciting to see God move through our church family. So, let’s continue to celebrate; connect & contribute and do MORE for our God! As Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Thanks again!

Home-Bound Heroes

Meets the needs of the homeless, both physically and spiritually, where they are. They feed the homeless each Monday night in a parking lot of downtown Ocala.

Good News Club

This ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship is an after school club that provides kids with an opportunity to hear the Gospel, build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth.

Wyomina Park Elementary School’s Benevolence Fund

Helps families of their school who are having a difficult time financially. 2% of their students are of the homeless population and their free and reduced lunch program benefits 84% of their students. Central has partnered with Wyoming Park for Good News Club and Jump Start.

Christian 12 Step

Promotes spiritual health and recovery from addictions (both substance and behavioral), emotional strongholds, and codependency. All teaching, classes, and services are offered for free.

Helping Hands

Offers in a wholesome living environment and Christian counseling to those who are homeless or in desperate situations.

Central’s Love Fund

A ministry of Central which provides members with a hand up in difficult times.
