Why High School Summer Camp?

It’s almost that time of the year again! Central’s High School Summer Camp is coming up soon, and your student should be a part of it! Here are some quick facts about our summer camp…

-The dates for our summer camp are July 9-16th.
-Our camp is put on by an organization called Christ in Youth or CIY.
-Our summer camp is hosted at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
-The weekend before camp actually starts, we will be serving the inner city community of Albany, Georgia with a missions organization called Mission Change.
-The main theme for this year’s camp is, “Kingdom Workers”. We will be studying the book of Ephesians, and we will be learning about to do God’s work here on earth.
-Our week will consist of awesome worship, great Bible teaching, crazy games, small group times, and adventure.

That is the basic information for our week of camp. But why should your student go?! Your student should attend with us because, our student ministry has seen SO MUCH life change come through our High School Summer Camps, and it’s something we really believe in! Year after year, God always shows up, and summer after summer He reveals Himself to our students in new and fresh ways! Every summer students come back wanting more from their Bible, prayer times, and relationship with God, The best part of this summer camp, is that there is truly space for God to move. Students are removed from their natural environment, away from drama, and chaos…and because of that they can really hear God’s voice. It’s a very powerful week, and I believe your student should come and be a part of it! If you are hesitant about sending your student, or wanting a better picture of what camp looks like, then make sure you check out this video!

For any other questions, feel free to send an email to alex@c3ocala.com or call the church office and I would be glad to answer any of those questions. Thanks,
