Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at Central Christian Church, “The Backyard.” We are excited to have your family in this ministry and we want to partner with you, the family, in the spiritual development of your child. We believe that beginning and building a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most exciting adventure a child will ever take. We have designed the children’s ministry with that goal in mind.
Children’s Ministry serves infants, six weeks old, through 5th grade children. Children will meet weekly in “The Backyard,” our ministry environment designed to help us “grow kids in Christ.” The Backyard has three distinct ministry environments: The Garden (6 weeks-36 months), The Clubhouse (3yrs-Pre-K), and The Treehouse (K-5th grade.)
THE GARDEN (6 WEEKS – 36 MONTHS)
In our nursery, infants and toddlers are nurtured and lovingly cared for in The Garden. Toddlers will hear Bible stories and engage in fun age appropriate activities.
THE CLUBHOUSE (3 YEARS – KINDERGARTEN)
Children ages 3 years- Pre-K gather at The Clubhouse to experience Bible stories, praise and worship time, and hands-on learning activities, all geared to help them gain an understanding that God loves them, God made them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
THE TREEHOUSE (1ST – 5TH GRADE)
Elementary kids meet in The Treehouse. The elementary ministry is designed to help kids, K-5thgrade, grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ through relational small groups, creative Bible teaching, praise and worship, and hands-on learning. Our goal is to help children take the next step in following Christ and begin learning about God and the Bible on their own.
