Food, Fun, and Free School Supplies!

SATURDAY // JULY 29TH // 10 AM – 1 PM

Jump Start is Central’s annual community outreach event that gives away backpacks full of school supplies to the students of Wyomina Park Elementary and surrounding neighborhoods. While that may sound like enough to most, we also provide lunch, community resources, bounce houses, pony rides, face-painting and more – making it an enjoyable day for the whole family. Yet, the best thing is, it’s FREE!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

#1: DONATE

The backpacks have been donated. The only thing we ask of you is to donate toward the sets of school supplies. It takes $10 to fill a backpack, so a total of $6,000 needs to be raised to fill 600 backpacks. Please clearly designate donations for “Jump Start”. You can also contribute donations online through Pushpay. Make sure to change the giving type to “Jump Start”.

#2: VOLUNTEER

MANY Volunteers will be needed for this event, and there is a place for everyone. There is no greater reward than to volunteer and give back to our community and this is a great way to do that!

#3: PRAY

Pray that God does exceedingly more through our donations, volunteers, and in the lives of the families impacted by Jumps Start.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR EVENT SPONSORS

Will you prayerfully consider partnering with us as an event sponsor?

Event sponsors will help provide for the fun-filled family day and the free lunch. Donations that exceed covering the cost of the event will be given to Wyomina Park Elementary School to help provide for needs of students and their families throughout the year. Event sponsors who respond before June 29 will receive sponsor recognition at the event and an opportunity to have printed materials distributed at the event upon request.
