We are a community with a passion to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Simply put, our mission here at Central is to Love God and Love Others.
We believe that there are three primary spiritual growth environments that strengthen our relationship with God and with others. They are represented by the three C’s in Central Christian Church: CELEBRATE; CONNECT and CONTRIBUTE! And they are marvelously illustrated in a New Testament biblical account recorded in Acts 2:41-47. In these few verses we read how these Jesus followers love for God so transformed their lives that it greatly influenced their love for others.
We gather together weekly to CELEBRATE God’s active involvement in our lives and in our church family; thanking Him for His undeserving grace and mercy!
In one word, worth-ship! We celebrate the priceless worth of our undeserving relationship with God publicly and privately as we live life for Him every day! We are so unworthy of His unfailing love and yet He loves us still. As Luke 15:32 NIV says,“…we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.”
We experience biblical community as we CONNECT in a relationship with God which influences our relationships with others!
In one word, together! Doing life together, connecting in community that is sharing, participating and partnering with God and one another in this journey called life! Connection point: our personal relationship with God greatly impacts our relationships with others. As Romans 12:5 NLT says, ‘Since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other and each of us needs all the others.”
We impact our world as our love for God overflows into our love for others as we naturally CONTRIBUTE to God’s ministry utilizing our God-given gifts, talents and resources.
In one word, service! Contribute, that is we serve God by serving others! As Romans 12:1 MSG says, “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.”
